The Electronics Engineer will play a key role in modernizing the approach to design, development and testing with specialization in circuit board layout design and certification processes.
Transform the line of hardware products to deliver leading-edge solutions that leap ahead of the competition and solidify the company’s stance as an innovative trusted solutions advisor.
Provide the electronics engineering design of device circuitry to include researching, designing and testing of the electronic components of the hardware system. Experienced in the use of computer-assisted engineering and design software to aid in engineering tasks.
Implement a prototype and proof of concept feedback system that enables the ability to rapidly test mechanical, firmware and electronic component design assumptions.
Design and fabricate test control apparatus and equipment.
Manage and maintain an auditable certification process for assurance of product performance in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Assist in all aspects of hardware engineering, offering ideas and innovative concepts to solve problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience required.
5+ years of professional experience in PCB layout design required.
Software development experience required.
Working knowledge of the CSA Group certification processes and standards preferred.
Able to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
